There's nothing good to watch on TV anymore.
I don't want to watch those stupid reality TV every single freaking day. Well, I do have to admit that I watch some reality shows. Project Runway, Dancing with the Stars, and Make Me a Supermodel lately coz Perry is soooo freaking HOT! I hope he wins... *^g^*

Pleaseeee run NEW shows.

Luckily, there are Asians drama out there to save me from having to see all those reruns......

Used Condoms Imported

Hmm.. While I'm still a lil bit sober... I'm gonna write about this a bit.

Just read this morning on the news. So, it's still fresh news!

In Tanjung Priok port, the custom is holding a container (25.280 kg) full of used (?) condoms imported from Germany.

PT. RRT said that the condoms are recycled and used to make (car) wheels. But the rumors, that are going around the people, are that the condoms are for gums (eewww.. nasty!!) and hair rubber bands (ugghhh!).

But the company said that the condoms are NOT used. They are rejected condoms.
Nevertheless, Indonesian custom is trying to re-export the condoms.

One of the minister (couldn't remember her name, I think she's that Financial Minister) said that since other countries are taking advantage of Indonesia by dumping all the industrial wastes there (remember that Singapore wastes that contained radioactive thing?), we need to charge higher tax (or is it tariffs?).

Hmm... that might be one way to do it...

The point is to stop those countries to dump wastes anywhere in Indonesia. We're not a trash can, you know..=p

However.................... made you wonder though.

How in the world they were able to collect 25.8 kg container full of used condoms????

Orang2 banyak yg jadi tua di jalan. Diam di mobil berjam2. Buang2 bensin (bensin mahal euy), abis2in pulsa telpon (iyalah, coba ngapain bengong di mobil kalo gak telp ato sms?), betis jadi gede (kebanyakan injek kopling hehe).

Hmm.. gue masih inget tuh terakhir pulang Indo 4 tahun lalu. Kita mau ke Bandung, macet abis!!
Saking macetnya kita bisa turun dulu jajan di warung, turun dari mobil buat beli makanan di abang2 trus ketinggalan mobil (udah maju ceritanya) tapi tetep aja bisa kekejar dengan jalan santai (kagak pake lari!) ahahhahaa... canggih dah... cuma ada di Indonesia =p

Ok back to topic...

Dan karena waktu itu adalah uang dan orang2 kerja untuk mengejar uang.
Kalo kelamaan di jalan, waktu/uang itu akan terbuang sia2 donk.

Maka dari itu... gunakanlah busway! (loh kok?! btw, I seriously support busway... haha) eh.. sewalah helicopter!!

Transportasi masa kini!!!

Cepat (banget!), mudah, bebas macet (jelas!), gak pake ngantri, bebas polusi (eh yg ini gak tau deh gue hehe), dan murah!

The Golden Compass

Just got home from the theatre.

And the verdict is..... I like this movie!

Unlike Beowulf that put me to sleep in the middle of the movie and made my friend left the theatre halfway... ^^

Contrary to the buzz around about this movie being pro-atheism, I really don't see anything about religion or atheism at all.

Or maybe I'm just dense?? huehuheuhe..

Anyway, after the movie ended, I asked my friend where the atheism thing is. (He's an American btw) and he told me that if you think about it, the magistrate kinds of represent the Roman Catholic way and the demon being our soul.. blablabla..

I told him.. well.. who thinks about all of that when watching a movie?? Geezz.. Americans are just so extreme to the core!

So what if the author is an atheist or an agnostic? I thought this is the land of the "free"??

They banned Harry Potter because of almost the same thing like this Golden Compass. It didn't really slow down the movie theatre from taking people's money...

Anyway, it is just a MOVIE.... chill out people!

I read the reviews yesterday and most of them said that the ending sucks. That reminds me that I haven't write anything about the movie itself. But then again, do I really need to write it all for you?? Nah.. you guys can just ask Mr. Google yourself....hehehehe..

Hmm.... I don't think the ending is that bad..
Sure they left it hanging, I think there will be a 2nd Golden Compass.
Why there wouldn't be? There are 3 books after all.

Btw... the 2nd Narnia is going to be out on May next year and a few of similar movies too, such as Inkheart (I think that's the title) is gonna be out on March. And there is another movie I think, don't remember.

But next year is going to be full of these kind of movies (saw them on previews when waiting for the movie to start)... I can't wait for the next Narnia. I hope it's not a disappointment....

2 weeks ago, Martin gave me a Tiffany's bracelet.
You know, the one with the chain, the one that has so many fakes.

But the clasp was broken. We need to fix it.
He said that he found it in front of Tiffany's... *whatever!*

Began when he asked me for a favor a while ago (after not contacting me for so long). He wanted to buy a Ferragamo wallet (a gift from his gf but he paid half of it anyway, at least that's what he said) but he said that they don't ship to Canada. *What? No Ferragamo store in Canada as well?!?*
And of course, him being cheap as hell, wanted that wallet to be sent to me (US) and then I need to send it there.

Fine... no problem... but you need to pay for the shipping fee that I spent.

George Benson & Al Jarreau

Went to see their concert on June 1st at Dallas Symphony.

It's bloody awesome... huehuhehe much much better than Natalie Cole... (well duh!)

Started with a meddley (is this how you spell it?) and both of them performed.
Then it was Al's stage for about an hour.

George went out, performed a song together, and then it was George's stage.

They closed it up together.

I absolutely loveeee their sax & keyboard player/background singer and their guitar player/background singer.
The sax/keyboard player/singer is a white bald guy (Joe Turner) and the guitar player/singer is a black bald guy (Chris Walker). *What's up with bald men lately??*

Chris was cute (hehe) and he's not that dark.. great voice!
But I like Joe better hehe...
Joe was awesome... Loved his sax playing. He used 3 sax(es?) small, medium, large...hahahha. (seriously!)

And well of course George is awesome on the guitar but then who doesn't know that hehe.

Al... now Al.....! Damn! He can still pull up that high note....
His voice is still very strong even though he's already aged. (65? 68? Eh, too lazy to do research.)

Man, I certainly didn't regret going to their concert. It's probably once in a lifetime experience to see them performing together.


Huhuhuh I missed Chris Botti! He was here May 9. I didn't know.
